Sculpted extensions — built to impress

Hard Gel Sculpted Extensions are created by applying hard gel directly over a nail form fitted under the natural nail — sculpting the extension from scratch rather than using pre-made tips. This creates a completely custom shape, perfectly tailored to your natural nail and your desired length.

Hard gel is stronger and more flexible than acrylic, sits lighter on the nail, and produces a naturally clear, glossy structure that pairs beautifully with Victoria Quinn gel polish. The result is a full set that looks elegant and feels comfortable — not heavy or artificial.

Finished with a glass top coat for a flawless, long-lasting shine. Infills are booked every 3–4 weeks to maintain the structure and keep your nails looking their best. Nail art can be added — just mention it when you book.

What happens at your appointment

Nail prep
Natural nails cleaned, filed and the surface lightly buffed. Cuticles tidied and pH bond applied to ensure the best adhesion.

Form fitting
A nail form is precisely fitted under the free edge of each natural nail — the template for sculpting your extension to the perfect shape.

Hard gel sculpt
Hard gel applied and sculpted over the form — building the apex, upper arch and length before curing under LED.

Refine & shape
Extensions filed and refined to your chosen shape — square, almond, coffin, stiletto or oval — with surface smoothed to perfection.

Colour & finish
Victoria Quinn rubber base floated, gel polish colour applied and glass top coat finished — ready to leave looking incredible.

Sculpted extensions are built from scratch over a form fitted under the natural nail, allowing a fully custom shape and natural-looking arch. Tip extensions use a pre-made plastic tip glued to the nail as a base. Sculpted extensions tend to look more natural and are completely tailored to your nail shape.
Hard gel extensions with gel polish are recommended to be infilled every 3–4 weeks. With proper care they stay strong and chip-free throughout. Please book hard gel infills for your follow-up appointment — not standard gel infills.
Because extensions are fully sculpted, any shape is possible — square, rounded square, oval, almond, coffin/ballerina, stiletto and more. We'll discuss your preferred shape and length at the start of your appointment.
Yes! Nail art can be added to your set. Please mention it when booking so we can allocate extra time, and share any inspiration images ahead of your appointment.
Hard gel and acrylic each have their strengths. Hard gel is odourless, more flexible (which means less breakage), and produces a clearer, glossier finish. It's also soaked off rather than filed, making removal gentler on the natural nail. At Zoe Lavender we use Victoria Quinn hard gel for its superior quality and finish.
No deposit is required. We just ask that if you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible so the slot can be offered to another client.
