A Russian Manicure is a dry, e-file technique that focuses on meticulous cuticle preparation before a gel polish application. Unlike traditional wet manicures, no water is used — which means the polish bonds better to the nail and lasts significantly longer. It's one of our most popular treatments and the result is exceptionally clean, precise and long-lasting.
BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) is a flexible, self-levelling overlay that strengthens natural nails while adding a little length. Hard Gel is a more rigid product used to sculpt full extensions with more dramatic length. Both are cured under an LED lamp and removed safely by a professional — not soaked off, which can damage the nail.
A well-applied gel polish or Russian Manicure typically lasts 3–4 weeks. Extensions and overlays can last longer but will need an infill appointment as your natural nail grows out. Longevity also depends on your daily activities and aftercare — we'll advise you on the best way to keep your nails looking great between appointments.
In the hands of a fully trained technician, yes — absolutely. Zoe has spent years training specifically in advanced e-file techniques in LA, Canada and across Europe. All e-file bits are autoclave sterilised between clients. The key to safe e-file work is education and experience, which is why we invest so heavily in training.
Yes — we work with all nail types and conditions. If you have damaged, bitten or very short nails, please mention this when booking so we can recommend the most suitable treatment. We're passionate about nail health and will always work with you to find the right approach.
